EE Podcast

A new episode of the EE Podcast is available for your listening pleasure!

In episode 70 Lea and I talk about presenting, sharing some of our experiences at different types of conferences and events.

Episode #70

For episode 70, we were going to chat with my tequila buddy Nevin Lyne, but travel delays led to some last-minute re-scheduling (Nevin will be joining us for episode 71). Thanks to the timing of last week's EECI EU conference and the online Engine Summit, Lea and I decided to talk about speaking and giving presentations.

In Presentations & Conferences, we share our own experiences with public speaking, including some tips for proposing topics and crafting your presentation to audience and event goals. We also discuss some of the challenges of public speaking and connecting with your audience.

Have a listen yourself!

Thank You!

We also closed out our first listener survey last week, and we got an overwhelming response. Really incredible how many people took the time to give us feedback, especially those of you who gave detailed answers. Everything you shared will help us make the podcast better!

As a thank you to survey respondents, we've randomly selected five respondents as winners of an EE Podcast t-shirt. We'll be announcing winners on the next podcast so …

Stay Tuned!

For our next episode, we've rescheduled with Nevin Lyne to talk about hosting (yay! I have so many questions).

Be sure to check out our schedule for other upcoming topics, and don't miss an episode:

The Coolest Person I Know

Emily Lewis

Yeah, that would be me: .

I'm a freelance web designer of the standardista variety, which means I get excited about things like valid POSH, microformats and accessibility. I ply my trade from my one-person design studio in Albuquerque, New Mexico 87106 USA.

A Blog Not Limited is my personal blog where I pontificate about web design, web standards, semantics and whatever else strikes my fancy. Head on over to Emily Lewis Design if you'd like to see my work or, even better, hire me.
