Watch Me @ MIX11

I had the immense pleasure of speaking about microformats at Microsoft's MIX11 conference last month in Vegas. And, amazingly, I'm managing to post a little recap within a month's time!

HTML5 Mini-Panel

But before I give you the goods on my Microformats & Semantic Markup presentation, I wanted to pimp the HTML5 discussion I had on Channel 9 while at MIX11.

Joining me were Stephanie Rewis, Jeff Croft and Robby Ingbretsen, with Nishant Kothary moderating. In stark contrast to my HTML5 panel at SXSW, the Channel 9 discussion was very front-end focused, as well as practical. Not surprising, since all of the panelists are actual practitioners who are working with HTML5 right now.

Definitely check it out.

Microformats & Semantic Markup

Now, for my presentation … I have to warn you that the audio is pretty shoddy for the first five minutes. This was totally awesome to deal with while on stage and, fortunately for you, it is recorded for your enjoyment. But if you can get past the audio issues, I think it is one of my better microformats presentations … at least it was the first where I wasn't about to puke from nerves during the first seven minutes.

If you happened to attend this session, thanks for joining me. And feel free to rate my presentation and/or offer comments.
